Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Measurement Model of Social Media Literacy among Undergraduate Students

The aim of this study is to analysis and examine the measurement model of social media literacy factors with empirical data. The samples of this research were one thousand freshman undergraduate students, selected via multi-stage random sampling. There were situation multiple-choice test and rating scale questionnaires to collect the data. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and second order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The research findings were as follows: the measurement model of social media literacy had three main factors: 1) critical thinking 2) awareness and 3) use which fit with the empirical data.
