dc.description.abstractThe object of this research is to transform the waste patterns paper for women’ costume decorations, evaluate the efficiency of the decoration materials, and design and present the decoration materials from waste patterns paper through women’s costume.Due to the fact that our Garment technology and Pattern Design have been teaching in clothing and there are a lot of waste patterns paper left after studying. We are value on the waste patterns paper, so we transformed these waste pattern paper for efficiency evaluation of the decoration materials. We did the experiment on these materials which are plain paper and paper which has a mixture of hevea. The result showed that the paper which has a mixture of hevea has a higher extensibility more than plain paper. Therefore, we then chose the paper which has a mixture of hevea for our material in creating the decoration for women’s costume. Furthermore, we surveyed three experts from Tube Gallery, Monai, and Iconic brands’ opinion on the design and decoration materials and divided the survey into two parts. First, we collected the expert’s opinion and feedback on design and decoration materials by selecting 3 clothing from 12 designs. Second, we collected the expert’s opinion and feedback that they had toward the 3 clothing products which creating from the waste sewing pattern paper for women’s costume decoration.The result of the experiment indicated that the efficiency average from three experts’ opinion of each design is in a high level reaching to the maximum level. When we considered in each design, it pointed out that the second design has a highest average 4.45. The next below is the third design (3.95) and another design (first design) has 3.84 average consecutively.en_US
