Uniform Design Project For Rescuers

Abstract

Uniform Design Project For Rescuers aimed to 1) Design an uniform for rescue volunteers to protect themselves from accidents that may happen during operations and 2) Design the uniform by using fireproof materials. This uniform design was inspired by Tron movie. More specifically, to design the uniform for rescue volunteers, a notable feature in a uniform of the movie’s characters, which is the modern image, was chosen. In addition, the uniform color tone of the movie’s characters was adapted according to rescue organization to match usage scenarios. Besides, uniform structure and pattern arrangement were designed by following the principal of design: balance, unity and repetition, and materials used including cotton and fabric that has fireproof properties from the coating of pyruvate CP.with fluorescent color for operations at night. Outcomes of the project were as follows. 1) From studying the concept of Tron movie to design a uniform for rescue volunteers, uniform structure and pattern arrangement on the uniform was done based on the principal of design: balance, unity and repetition. 2) The output was 1 collection for rescue volunteers which comprises of 2 uniform sets.
