Abstract

Project CNC Cutting Foam Author Miss Chanidaporn Chimvised Mr. Natthanan Wantha Major Information Technology Advisor Mr. Chanwit Musika Academic Year 2023 Abstract The CNC Cutting Foam project aims to create an CNC Cutting Foam and to cut the foam into the desired form through the computer system by presenting a method of cutting foam using hot wire that works with CNC system. For the tools used in system development, the creator uses C++ to write hardware development programs through the Arduino IDE program, use Candle program to controlling the CNC cutting foam, use Inkscape program for creating G-code files, GRBL firmware used for controlling CNC, Arduino UNO for controlling stepper motor and micro stepping motor driver A4988, Arduino CNC shield for controlling movements And DC-DC Converter for controlling the hot wires.
