Abstract

Project ELECTRIC VEHICLE TRIP PLANNER Author Piyaporn Sa-ardbuts Major Computer Science Advisor Chananate Autthayukti Academic Year 2023 Abstract The project concerning the electric car travel planning system aims to assist users traveling with electric cars in reaching their destinations without running out of energy or battery power. It provides information on the locations of electric charging stations along the designated route and presents detailed information about these charging stations. This is achieved by utilizing maps through the Google Map Application Program Interface, or Google Maps API, to display the positions and details of the electric charging stations. The results of the project indicate that user satisfaction with the electric car travel planning system across various platforms is at a high level, with an overall average satisfaction rating of 4.25 and a standard deviation of 0.85, signifying a high level of user satisfaction.
